Cellar Checked by Experts
All our Independent Assessors are beer and cellar hygiene experts. They conduct an 11-point audit to ensure beer and cider is kept and maintained in excellent condition ready to be served.

- Glassware and Bar Hygiene
Perfect Pour & Presentation
Bar Staff are assessed on pouring technique, glassware cleanliness and presentation because how your pint looks matters just as much as how it tastes.
Beer-in-the-Glass Testing
Quality in the glass is checked by our beer experts. All styles including lager, cask ale, stout, cider and no & lo alcohol draught products are tested for:
- Correct temperature for the product type
- Correct clarity for the product type
- Smell and taste as it should with no off flavours or aromas
Ongoing Quality
Accredited pubs are regularly monitored via ‘mystery shop’ visits and feedback to maintain standards. We also take feedback from consumers via the CaskFinder App to help the pub to maintain and improve.
